Congratulations to Dr. Camila F Marinelli

We are delighted to congratulate Dr Camila Ferreira Marinelli, CMR Associate and researcher at the Centre for Minorities Research, on the publication of her chapter in the new Berghahn Books volume:

Educating Otherwise: Contexts, Interventions and Radical Possibilities of Anthropological Learning

Camila’s chapter, “Decolonial Praxis: The Experiences of Indigenous Academics in Brazil,” draws on her doctoral research at the University of St Andrews to explore how Indigenous academics are transforming higher education through alternative epistemologies, relational forms of knowledge, and decolonial educational practices.

Published as part of the ASA Monographs Series, the volume brings together an international group of scholars to examine how anthropology can reimagine learning, teaching, universities, and knowledge production through more inclusive and transformative approaches.

We are proud to see Camila’s work contributing to these important conversations on Indigenous knowledge, decoloniality, and higher education.

The volume is available in Open Access
