My Life In… Podcast | Episode 1 Now Available

The Centre for Minorities Research (CMR) is delighted to announce the release of the first episode of My Life In…, our new podcast series exploring the professional journeys of individuals working with minorities and vulnerable communities.

In this inaugural episode, Dr Stavroula Pipyrou, Senior Lecturer in Social Anthropology and Founding Director of CMR, is in conversation with Rita Izsák-Ndiaye, a human rights expert and diplomat with extensive experience in minority rights, equality policy, and international advocacy.

Rita reflects on her professional pathway — from early motivations to key turning points — and shares honest insights into the challenges and rewarding moments that have shaped her career. The conversation offers a thoughtful and accessible look at the realities of working in international policy and advocacy, and the human dimension behind roles dedicated to minority rights.

This episode was recorded as part of the My Life In… public seminar series and has been adapted for podcast format to ensure wider accessibility.
