We are happy to share that Edgar Kanaykõ Xakriabá, one of our Research Collaborators in the Project ‘Capturing new education models among Indigenous and Quilombola minorities in Brazil’, has won the Photography Award in 1st place for ‘Images created by photographic cameras: Wild and anthropic environment’.
The prize is given by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in Brazil. It is the ninth edition of the Photography Award – Art & Science that aims to promote the production of images with the theme of science, technology and innovation and contribute to the dissemination and popularisation of science and technology.
The image title is: Iny – O brilho dos espíritos (Iny – The spirits brightness)
